What We Do

Community Engagement

We provide engagement with the community to better understand how to align our resources and personnel to drive impact in the community. Events like the Shafter Christmas Parade, and trunk-or-treat provide much needed resources to the community while providing avenues for increased community engagement.

Community Outreach

The Shafter Lions understand the power of partnerships. We work with local officials, businesses and organizations to address the situations and issues that are impacting communities the most and help put long-term solutions in place.

Feed The Hungry

With the changes in budget our community hunger is on the rise. Hundred of people are undernourished and lack the resources to feed themselves or family. We are dedicated to feeding our community and driving engagement to end hunger in our community. We drive action with the community to donate food to the local food banks.

Scholarships

Education is the foundation from which many great deeds start from. Providing our local students scholarships to kick-start their career is a passion the Shafter Lions Club strives for each year. Thousands of dollars are raised and are provided to scholars in the community. Consider a donation to our scholarship fund.
